Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled .NET Developer to support government initiatives by designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable applications. This contract role involves working within a structured SDLC environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical solutions that meet federal compliance and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain .NET applications using C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and .NET Core
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and web services for system integration
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Ensure applications meet federal security, accessibility, and performance standards
- Conduct unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning
- Support legacy system modernization and data migration efforts
- Maintain technical documentation and participate in code reviews
- Work within Agile or hybrid project management frameworks
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in .NET development
- Proficiency in:
- C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, MVC
- JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery
- SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS
- Visual Studio, Git, Azure DevOps
- Experience with government systems or public sector projects preferred
- Remote or hybrid based on agency requirements
- Contract Duration: One Year
